Out of the depths of experience comes a fresh face in the world of acoustic music entertainment. Hard Drive, from Nashville, Tennessee, is an exciting ensemble consisting of Lonnie Jones, guitar; Shirley Jones, bass; Garry Adams, mandolin; Michael Richardson, banjo; Jason Green, fiddle; and Danny Conway, dobro.
This group of seasoned bluegrass veterans takes their music and entertainment value seriously with polished, tight, professional performance and a personality-plus presentation. With renewed emphasis on the cherished tradition of acoustic music in America, Hard Drive will bring their style of quality entertainment to fans at Larry's Grand Ole Garage and elsewhere, throughout the southeast. The group has recorded a couple of CDs that you can purchase here on the website.
Hard Drive will be performing Saturday, March 14th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Rocky River Community Center (on Tennessee Higheway 30 between Spencer and McMinville, Tennessee).
Jason Green plays fiddle with the group. Jason lives in White Bluff, TN. He has played with several bands over the years. He is a very aggressive player and puts the fans on the edge of their seats with his performances.
Shirley Jones plays bass in the band and sings lead and also harmony. Shirley has been with the band for over twenty-five years. She shows her love for the music in her performances.
Lonnie Jones has been exciting fans with his performances for over forty years. He is a great musician, humorist and an all around good guy. Lonnie's love for the music is apparent from the moment he steps on the stage.
Garry Adams plays mandolin and sings baritone and lead. He moved to Tennessee from Illinois several years ago. Garry traveled with the Adams Family Band before coming to Nashville. He worked at Opryland Park for seventeen years as a musician. His soaring breaks and tasteful accompaniment are evidence of his years of experienced playing.
Danny Conway plays dobro and sings tenor and lead. Originally from Michigan he moved to Portland, Tennessee several years ago. Danny has previously played with Music City Bluegrass.
Ronnie Jones plays banjo and sings tenor and lead. Ronnie is Lonnie's son. He played bass and banjo with Lonnie starting at age 12. Ronnie has started playing banjo again.
